Ok. I know punctuation rules can be tough. This week’s holiday challenges many folks and I don’t expect the average person who’s quickly typing out a personal blog entry to get it right. But, this is a school sign and it’s on one of the busiest streets in my town. I mean, really.

Veterans Day does not include an apostrophe but does include an “s” at the end of “veterans” because it is not a day that “belongs” to veterans, it is a day for honoring all veterans.
